This breed of dog is a small dog with a wonderful, outgoing, personality. He is happiest when he is part of a loving family. Tenterfields are being used in Agility, Flyball, Lure Racing, Earth Dog Trials as well as being Shown with great success.
He has a short, single easy-care coat and is ideal for those prone to allergies. There is very little shedding of the coat and no doggy smell. To stroke a good quality Tenterfield is like stroking satin or velvet.
