The Airedale is a versatile all-round companion. Originally bred in the Aire Valley, Yorkshire England, they were known as Waterside or Bingley terriers. The Airedale is truly a versatile all-round dog. Over the years the Airedale has been used to hunt both large and small game, for messenger and guard duty during times of war, and on the farm to herd and protect. Airedales are smart, agile, loyal, loving, and playful. Presidents Wilson, Coolidge, and Harding, John Wayne, and author John Steinbeck were Airedale owners.
At North Florida Airedales we work to produce high quality, healthy Airedales with excellent temperament. All of our breeding Airedales are OFA screened for hip conformation. We whelp and raise our pups inside where both mom and young pups get plenty of attention and we can monitor growth and weight gain. Pups are handled daily so they are very comfortable with people when they go to their new home. We guarantee healthy puppies and provide a contract/bill of sale with each puppy. We can arrange shipping with continental U.S.
