Rivendell Newfoundlands is located on our 125 acre organic farm on the banks of the Little Buffalo River, deep in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. Fresh air, room to run and a daily swim in the river, in addition to excellent healthy bloodlines, are the secrets of our Ozark Gentle Giants.

We are conscientious breeders and only produce one or two carefully selected litters per year. Our Newfies are part of our family and our occasional litters are whelped and raised in our home.

Our focus is on healthy Newfie pups which meet the breed standard and represent the whole dog. We are active in conformation, draft and water work and we offer both pet-quality companions as well as occasional exceptional pups which are suitable for show or performance. We are members of Newfoundland Club of America, Heart of America Newfoundland Club and North Arkansas Kennel Club.

We aptitude test our puppies at 8 weeks of age and we work with prospective owners to determine their particular needs and interests to assure that a good match is made and that our puppies go to appropriate homes.

Our adult dogs have been OFA screened for hips, elbows and heart, are thyroid checked and are clear for cystinuria. Visit our web site for more on health screenings. We provide AKC limited registration, a written contract with a health guarantee and lifetime technical support.
