Kerry Blue Terriers are not the right dog for everybody. Please do your research on the breed and if it's the right breed for you, only buy from a reputable breeder who does genetic testing on the sire and dam and who breeds for comformation, with the AKC champion title to prove it, as well as for temperament. Visit the breeder's home to ensure the sire and dam are not kept in a kennel twenty-four/ seven, the pups are well cared for and fully vetted and the dogs are sold on contract to return the pup to the breeder if you cannot keep it. A good breeder will be interviewing you to make sure you are the right home for the pup as much as you are interviewing the breeder.
