Meet our Brand New Arctic English Goldens



This designer breed has been a long time in the works and we are ecstatic to introduce our litter of nine Arctic English Golden puppies. These are a rare combination of the Italian Samoyed and the English White Golden Retriever.

Having been a breeder of purebred Samoyeds, and purebred English Goldens for many years, we saw the incredible opportunity to expand on what each of these breeds alone have, though each breed expresses their unique temperament in different, though reliable, ways.



Separately, the Golden is cherished as the gentle family dog, with nary a mean bone and a great one to pal around with no matter what activities a person is involved in, or even none at all. If you want to hike, bike, float a boat, work all day or surf the couch all day, a Golden is right there with you. English Goldens are stunningly beautiful, and have yet another advantage in that they are far removed from the American show dog Golden bloodlines that are riddled with cancers at young ages here in the States now.

Many of our English Goldens are therapy dogs for adults with disabilities and children, the most often helped by a dog are those with symptoms of add, adhd and autism of varying degrees.



Contrast the purebred Samoyed dog, and you have a gene pool of vibrant health, even by todays standard of relatively poor rates of genetic diseases in the four hundred or so recognized dog breeds. Samoyeds are consistent in better health and longevity, they are very loving and like the Golden, are completely non aggressive family dogs. 



Add to all this, the Samoyed is undeniably one of the prettiest dogs on the planet. They smile and make happy around their people and are never in a bad mood, which picks us up too.



 Consistent requests from dog lovers who are in the know about these two breeds have convinced us here at Foxburrow that we are creating a shining example of a healthy, vibrant, sparkling white, temperamentally superior dog, affectionately coined as Foxburrow's Arctic English Samoyeds.



What can you expect in a grown dog of this breeding? 



The females will be about fifty five Lbs. She will have beautiful dark brown eyes, with complete black pigmentation of the eyes, lips and nose. Set against a pure white, long silky coat you better get her spayed because she is going to be show stopping beautiful. The coat may turn long and silky or may have a soft double texture to it. In any case expect a luxurious length of fur that will be easy to care for, without tangles, so no trimming is necessary unless you choose to do so.



 The males will be from seventy to eighty five Lbs and will be, frankly, magnificent in appearance. With a rugged carefree rogue headset and the mind of a love besotted husband, the male Arctic English is a fun loving, active and extremely family loyal dog, minus the aggression some may accidentally associate with a Northern breed such as the Samoyed. 



He will be actively following you and your kids around, making fun and insisting on being in the center of the floor at all times so everyone may admire him. Not bad for a new breed.



The health of these dogs will be exceptional. You can expect them to live on average fifteen years, and you are guaranteed to get a family friendly cooperative and smart new addition that will grow up to be a sought after, unique dog you will be proud to call family.

I am devoted to getting a line of dogs going with both a wonderful easy disposition and vibrant health, and I know we have a winner here with this mix of breeds. They are beautiful, disease resistant due to the bloodline shakeup along with the elimination of the American Golden, as is replaced by the English version. Cancers be gone. While I am a very experienced breeder, it took me a long time to accept that I should mix these two breeds, as they are fine dogs in their purebred form as well. But there is something about this blend that is too attractive to ignore, so this is our first litter. I will never look back, as these puppies, all nine of them, are drop dead gorgeous, healthy and very true to the temperament I was hoping for.  Let me know if you would like to reserve one of them.
