When they were born they both weighed Five point two oz.

I've been holding them and cuddling them for socialization. My daughter and her little sixteen month old son are living with us and they sit and hold them along with my husband and my older son. I feel one of the most important things you can do for dogs is to socialize them for their future home so they become the perfect family member. I don’t know about other people but we get attached to our animals and our dogs are like family.

The mom has a wonderful personality, so does the dad. I took them to our fair last year and they were so glad to see everyone and everything. I try to take them out whenever I can. The people that had them before me did the same type of socialization. They did not just keep them in a kennel.



Crested's do not shed the way a normal dog does. Yes it might lose some hair but more like a human. They do not smell like a dog even when they get wet...I love that about them..no dog smell. Most people who are allergic to dogs do well with these.



Their temperament can best be described as sometimes cat like. They love to snuggle and play like a cat but are loyal like a dog. They are very amusing and funny. I find them quieter not barking for any reason. Yes they will bark if they think something or someone is trying to get in or coming over but they do very good at the quiet command. I have also found them to be quite quick to train.



When you read up on the Chinese Crested you will find three different varieties there are hairless which ranges from a little hair. Some on the lower parts of their feet and neck, and top of the head and some on the tail, maybe a little on their back.

Then you can have a hairy hairless. Some of their body has hair, down the back, legs, top of head, neck, face, some chest. In order to show this one you would shave the back hair and some of the hair on the upper part of the legs along with the hair on the chest and clean up the muzzle.

You can also get what is called a puff in the same litter. This one has hair all over its body and is shown in a full coat, with the exception of muzzle, you shave the muzzle. This one reminds me of a miniature Afghan hound.



Their size ranges from Five lbs. to Ten to Twelve lbs....My female Diva is Four and one half lbs. Dad Harvey is about Nine lbs. They run about Twelve” tall some a little taller. Diva is black and white and Harvey is Chocolate and White with mega spots. He is cool, they both are.



These babies are AKC reg. and have Champion backgrounds. The babies are nice enough that if you were interested in it you could show them...They have great conformation and could go out in the ring to win. I don't show at this time because of health issues but it doesn't prevent me from raising top quality dogs. Champions are just as easy to feed can be very rewarding in other ways.
