Sugar Run Ridgebacks of TN is a sister breeder with Sugar Run Ridgebacks of VA. Sugar Run is a third generation breeder of hounds with over forty years of experience in breeding, training, showing and hunting. Our main goal is to breed not only for conformation and beauty but overall superior puppies. Our research, background in behavioral science, and past litters have fine tuned what it means to "Raise a Champion."



Our Puppies are born under the observation and care of both Sugar Run Virginia and Tennessee; we participate in an early sensory integration and drive analyst, as well as early clicker training to better prepare our litters for life as both family companions & show dogs. Sugar Run VA & TN primarily focus on the development of sound and loving temperaments.



Sugar Run TN is currently breeding exclusively for the specialized research and training program of SRRVA. Puppies not selected for that program will be offered to the public with both pet & show prospects available.



As a new puppy owner and a new member of the Sugar Run community we strive to include you in the growth process of your new puppy. Knowing how exciting it is to have your new family member born, we will send photos, HD videos and email updates throughout the first eight weeks. Our goal is to keep the new family as close to their pup as possible.
