First and foremost we are a family. Prince Hoosier Daddy & Princess Izabella Fortner, yep Those Are Their Names, are family members. They are inside, crawl into your lap, play and have fun with, take over your bed, & steal your seat on the couch family members. We say this outright in the beginning because we aren't a puppy mill. Hoosier & Izzy go about everywhere with us, on the boat, to the races and vacation. Hoosier & Izzy are both AKC registered, and their litter of beautiful pups are as well.





If you have never owned a boxer before, you need to understand they are family members not dogs. They are a blast. We have a great many good memories with Hoosier & Izzy, they are just amazing individuals. Loyal, well mannered, and always ready to play or just hang out. Untill we got Hoosier, Yeah, he was the first, we had no idea what how happy we would be. Izzy came about two years after we got Hoosier.



The puppies are a blast, although keeping up with nine of them is pretty crazy at times. They are now getting really playful with each other and with us as well. We give them lots of room to run around, as puppies need the room to run and play. They have so much energy. Boxers are great with kids. Their temperment is so calm an patient.



This isn't our first experience with puppies. About thirteen years ago our pug Darla and Rascal Who passed in the beginning of last year had a litter of twelve. That was really crazy. We had a great deal of fun and learned a ton. Really young puppies need a lot of attention and care. A couple of years later she had another litter this time of nine, but this time we were a bit more prepared.



So when did the journey into having boxer puppies begin?

Well a few months ago Hoosier and Izzy decided they wanted babies. So they called the stork, and Izzy was now an expectant mother. We jokingly said the puppies would come around Thanksgiving since that's when Darla likes to have hers, and were even taking bets on how many Izzy & Hoosier would have. Someone even guessed correct, nine. Well, along comes the mom of the house birthday December fourth. Upon awakening we found that Izzy was in fact was in labor. Happy Birthday was said, and the day began. Izzy had her first puppy about ten thirty am and didn't have her last puppy untill around eight pm that night, it felt like longer to be honest. She handled it like a trooper though, we were so proud of her. Izzy has been a wonderful mother.



So now the really hard part begins.... We have to find wonderful new homes for our babies. If your just looking for a dog to put in your backyard you should look somewhere else. These puppies need homes and will be part of the family.
