When bred properly, this is just the nicest breed of a little dog you could ever imagine. These two little boys are friendly, affectionate, and playful and require very little exercise. It seems their only purpose in life is to please you. They are truly a perfect companion dog. They love children, who come over to play with them daily, (in fact, they seem to love everyone). They would be great for an elderly person or a professional/career person who maintains a very busy schedule. These dogs are non-allergenic and my daughter who is a severe asthmatic can attest to that. I am considered an honest, reputable breeder and have been breeding only AKC registered Shih Tzu puppies for twenty-six years. I do not breed any other breed of dog in order to insure my line is pure Shih Tzu. I follow selective breeding practices for both the dam and the sire, who live with us in our home. Genetic testing was done on the original line and I continue to cull every four years for any undesirable traits related to health issues as well as cosmetic. As a result, my puppies are healthy, friendly and pretty. Most of them grow to be approximately nine lbs at adult weight. People who purchase my puppies refer me time and time again to friends and relatives. The AKC lineage for all my puppies can be traced back at least three generations. Each puppy is hand held and played with on a daily basis and are thoroughly socialized. Originally, there were six puppies in this litter. Deposits were placed on three of the puppies and they were sold prior to the litter even being born. Now I have a little brown/white/black male, plus a black and white male – each ready for new homes. These little puppies have beautiful faces and a wonderful disposition. Their coats are silky and full (absolutely beautiful). They meet all the standards for the Shih Tzu breed. They have had their first vaccination/shot and an added plus; they are already house broken. I give a contract and ask that within a week of purchasing the puppy, a certified, reputable veterinarian must examine him. Should two qualified veterinarians find the puppy to be defective and unsuitable as a pet, the puppy can be returned to me and your money will be refunded.
