Dudley is a stray who ended up at Arfhouse about 3 years ago. He was adopted by a very nice couple who had a male dog. They brought their dog to Arfhouse to see how Dudley would get along with him, and, while the staff never thought it would work, they took them for a walk down a country road, and by the time they returned, the 2 were romping and playing together. Their dog was a senior and he and Dudley were incredibly devoted to one another. Very sadly, a year and a half later their first dog died and Dudley's personality became really depressed. The couple had since had a baby, and Dudley seemed unfriendly toward the child (but did not bite), and he was generally very sad. The couple had to return him. Check out his long, lean legs! He's house friendly and likes people, though, and he just wants a forever home with a family who will love and take care of him no matter what happens! If you think Dudley would make a great addition to your family, please call or email ARFhouse. martha@arfhouse.org 903.564.7056
