Maya was found dumped on the side of the road by a bridge over a river. Apparently, her entire litter was thrown over the bridge into the river, and Maya somehow managed not to go over. She also managed not to get hit by a car on the highway where the bridge is. When found, Maya was about a pound and a half, covered with fleas, dehydrated and VERY CUTE! Maya is a busy girl who would do best if she had a job. She is very smart, and will do well when she has some training. Maya's current owner was not very responsible, and did not provide regular training or leash walks. As a result, Maya was left to find activities on her own, and often got into trouble in the trash, digging out, and barking at cars or animals passing by. Maya loves to snuggle and is very loving. With training and attention, she will be a wonderful dog, especially with children. Maya wants to please and would like the chance to be a good dog. Can you give her that chance?
