October 2011 Dixie is a long-legged mix with a light sandy-colored coat and a curled tail. She's almost 13 years old, LOVES attention, is very active, and weighs 50 to 55 lbs. She is completely crate-trained and is ok with the other dogs in her play area, but she would really like to have her own Forever Family or Person with maybe only one other dog, please ..... and no cats! (She's watching a cat in both pictures!) Dixie needs plenty of exercise. She is also available as a Sponsor Dog because her chances of finding a good forever home are very slim, especially in this economy. She enjoys exercising with Scooby and/or Pablo.
