Ferris was a stray at another shelter. He is a cute little guy who is just so happy. He likes other dogs but did not like them cats hissing at him. Ferris is about 5 years old and weighs in at 10 pounds, but needs to gain a few. He would love to find a good home soon. He is currently in the prison program where inmates foster some of our dogs, teach them basic commands, crate training and work on housebreaking. To meet a prison dog, you will need to fill out an adoption application and get pre-approved. Once approved, a day and time can be set up for the shelter to pull the dog from prison for you and the family to meet at the shelter. Adoption applications can be done at www.hsmcohio.com. Our normal adoption fee is $105.00 which includes a Microchip, set of shots, deworming, heartworm testing if old enough, and spay or neuter. Plus has a 1 year rabies.
