Dogs that are adopted from the Humane Society of Central Texas (2032 Circle Rd, Waco, TX 76706) are checked by a kennel staff member, spayed/neutered or receive coupon, micro-chipped, and receive a coupon for a free rabies vaccine. The adoption fee is $125. The adoption fee for senior dogs (5 years and older) is $50, and specialty breeds are $150. We often run adoption fee specials. Please call our Office for current details. IMPORTANT.Please make sure you are ready to spend the time and money any pet requires and adopt the dog that has the right size and temperament for YOUR situation. Also, remember, if you have other dogs at home already, give the new dog time to get used to new home before introducing them to each other; then keep on monitoring them.
