who's "That Girl"?.... MARLO THOMAS (ADOPT ME!!) photos by Gabe McCurdy This is MARLO THOMAS she arrived at the Nest a few days ago. Another victim of a gun happy individual who was using her as target practice with his BB gun. She really is just starved for attention. She globs on to you and doesn't want you to let go. She walks great on the leash, already knows basic commands. She is not quite sure of the other dogs at the moment, so for now we have her on her own schedule. Poor thing, sounds like her vocal chords have been cut, she has raspiest most painful sounding bark. We are going to have Dr. Jeff take a look at it. I wish everyone could meet Marlo, because when you do, she melts your heart. She loves to play with stuffed toys. Is a great running partner or just as content to be your snuggle-bug pal on the sofa. If someone is looking for a first time dog she is the one. She is about 40 lbs and is the perfect size. She even sits down before putting her leash on. She also cries just a little bit when she has to go. She loves attention and belly rubs. She did really well over July 4th with all the loud noises. She acts like she wants to play with other dogs but only time will tell. She loves people! If you are looking for a companion she is the one for you I require vet references and a home visit. I am an indoor dog with outdoor privileges. All of our dogs are house & crate trained. Homes with fenced in yards are preferred. All our pets are spayed/neutered, and up to date on their shots prior to adoption. Adoption fee of $175-$450 depending on adopter's location this includes transportation and goes towards the cost of care for this pet and future animals we rescue.
