Penny is a 1.9 year old spayed female. She is chipped and will receive updated shots prior to adoption. Good with cats and other dogs. She is good with kids but can be protective so older kids are preferred. She has however been around kids under three and played well. She will bark at new people at first. Just needs some time to warm up. 10lbs. Walks well on leash. She needs continued work on house manners and would do well in a home with a dog door and with owners who can provide a rigid and consistent schedule for her. She is a lively girl, very territorial and loyal. Knows sit and stay and enjoys the dog park. No abuse or aggression history with other dogs. She has not bitten anyone but has gotten snippy in the past. Fenced yard please. Her ideal new home would have plenty of time and resources to spend training and socializing her. She stays in.the bathroom while her people are away and sleeps in bed with one person or another. Eating Purina One Beyond, Chicken and Whole Oats. She was placed in rescue due to lack of time and resources. Application and home visit required. Adoption fee is $300.
