Robbie is the sweetest dog. His real name is Roberto - his nick name Robbie. He is one of those dogs about whom you can say nothing negative. He is just the perfect dog. He is good with dogs. He is good with people. He hasn't been tested with cats but it is likely he will be very good with cats too. He has been temperament tested and is very gently leading us to believe that he will be very gentle with children. He hasn't been physically tested with children but he is so gentle and kind that we don't see any reason not to adopt him with children. He is a submissive dog and gently protective.He hasn't been obedience trained so he gently jumps. Really it is more a standing on his hind legs and then gently leaning forward and softly putting his head on you. He is not rambunctious. He is gentle and kind and sweet and jusst wants to love and be loved. He we do well with a gentle family who doesn't do a lot of yelling.He is the kind of dog you can walk in the park, sit by the fireplace with, watch TV, play Frisby, run on the beach and just have as a best buddy. He is the perfect dog. He is mellow in nature. He is a little beauty. These pix do not do him justice. He is not obedience trained but he is easy on the leash. Robbie is a sweet, happy boy so glad to be rescued from that horrible shelter where he was on death row.Robbie is a male, German Shepherd/ Labrador Retriever mix. He is approximately 1 - 2 yrs old (as of Dec 2012). He is Black and Tan and white in color, medium size - approximately 40lbs, neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and on prevention. He is healthy.Robbie will be adopted into an inside forever home only. Fence preferred but not a deal breaker with the right person. Must own home. No rentals please.
