Adoption Coordinator Kathy Scout is a 1 yr old, 65 pound male Doberman mix who was abandoned in a Memphis dog-park where a good Samaritan rescued him. He is affectionate toward children and cats. He is best suited for a home with older children. He is good with other dogs, however, he can have food aggression with other dogs. This could be due to an intestinal issue he had which has since been resolved. He would do best as an only dog or with a sumbissive dog. He is house trained, answers to his name, and sits on command. Scout loves to race around the dog park like a track star. In his last picture you can see him with his other red dobie friend. He loves to cuddle. On the couch he is a teddy bear. It's hard to resist this clown with his pink nose and green eyes. A fenced back yard or nearby dog park and frequent walks would accommodate his high energy needs. This is a GREAT dog that will make a loyal and loving companion. Adoption fee $375. Please complete an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
