Special needs dogs have a special place in our hearts so when we met Oliver at the Lancaster shelter and heard his story we knew we had to help him. He once had a loving home with an elderly woman but one fateful night he escaped his yard and ended up in the shelter. After investigating the situation, we learned she could no longer afford to care for Oliver and she herself was ill. We made her a promise that Oliver would not die in the shelter, we would take him and find him a loving home to spend the rest of his life. Oliver is a Great Dane mix although he is not as large as a Great Dane. Oliver is about 5 years old. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. He is great with kids and other friendly dogs but has not yet been cat tested.Oliver was born deaf but that does impede is ability to love. He is one big love bug! He does need some leash training but is an easy going boy happy to hang out and relax with you.
