Herbie is the cutest little Belgian shepherd/lab mix, born in January/February 2012. He is a goofy, sweet puppy. He gets along great with other dogs after an introduction and loves small children. He has never been around cats, but I'm sure he would do fine with them. He is a bit insecure in new situations so it will be important that his new family continues his socialization and helps him to gain confidence. Currently he is about 18lbs, and I suspect that he will be about 50 lbs when he is grown. Herbie and his siblings were rescued off of the Ft. McDowell Indian Reservation. The dogs out there come from many generations of mixed breeds. There is definitely shepherd and lab in there, and probably a little of just about everything else. He will not shed as much as a typical shepherd though. Herbie loves to be around people and he deserves a good home where he will get plenty of attention! His adoption fee is $200 and that includes neuter, microchip, and DAPP vaccination. If you are interested in meeting Herbie, please contact Delon.Washo@asu.edu or 602-295-4518. AZ Prussian Snailhound Dog Rescue would like to remind everyone that puppies are a big commitment and require a lot of attention. Puppies often exhibit undesirable behaviors such as chewing and digging. Of course they also are a lot of fun and are very lovable too. When choosing a puppy please consider how much time you will be able to spend training and socializing your new puppy.
