Hi there - I'm Rigby! I am an adorable, 2 year old, 7 pound Chihuahua boy. I am so enjoying my newfound freedom! The first thing I do when let outside in the morning is to go potty and run around the yard in big zoom-zoom-ZOOMS! Yes, I am already potty trained and will make someone a great companion; I'm just hoping it might be YOU! I do great going for car rides and also great with walking on a leash. I LOVE to go for walks and check out the sights. I've gone for nice, long strolls up in the mountains and just love to walk and walk and walk. I would be a wonderful dog for an active family looking for a portable guy to accompany on adventures. Know why? Well, I get along with all the dogs I've met, big and small. I particularly love to play with other small dogs my size but am learning to play with the 30 pound terriers at my foster home. I am a happy guy and am slowly coming out of my shell when people are around. Chase is a really fun game for me and sometimes I just can't resist cuz watching those people chase after me is great fun! I will let my foster mom pick me up and I just relax in her arms while she's carrying or petting me. I'll also sleep right next to her on the couch while she reads and can even jump up on the couch by myself. I don't have an aggressive bone in my body---I eat with 3 other dogs and am very gentle with the people who handle me. Even when I am very nervous or scared, I have never shown any bad manners. I haven't been around kids, so I don't know how I will do but you can always schedule a meet and greet! Since I am a little tyke, I would probably do best with kids at least 7 years of age as I do know that when there's a lot of running around and excitement, I get a little overwhelmed and go outside to get away.
