Regretfully we are no longer able to adopt to RI and MA applicants.George Strait is approximately a four year old German Shepherd mix. He is a very smart boy and responds to basic commands. He came in to a Veterinary Hospital to be euthanized because he didn't like cats. The staff at the clinic rescued him and he is now looking for someone who understands him. He really does not do well with cats and should not go to a home with them. He seems to do ok with other dogs. George would prefer a home with no children or older children because he can play a bit too rough with a really small child. His hard play can be misunderstood.
