Hi! My name is Hope (but my foster family calls me Stevie). I am a 1 yr old Chihuahua mix. After some good old fashioned Wisconsin TLC, I settled right into foster care, & made friends with the 4 other pups in my home. I love going for walks, and my foster Mom says I walk so nicely on leash for my daily long trek. I already know where to go potty (outside), and I stay in a crate to keep me safe while my family is away. Everyone says I am so well mannered. I do very well with the yellow lab and cat that live with me in my foster home. I have that typical little dog excitement when I meet other dogs, but I quickly settle down and have fun. Since I am still young and a bit excitable, it is best that I am notin a home with young children.At night, I like to sleep in a soft dog bed-- or better yet, I'd like to cuddle with you in your bed if you'll invite me!!!My adoption fee is $375 Adoption fees for all dogs/puppies include a $50 refundable training deposit. Complete your basic training program and provide a copy of the certificate within 4 months (120 days) of adoption and we will refund $50 of the original adoption fee.All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days.Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. At this time it is necessary to send a request for an application. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including contact with your veterinarian and completion of a home visit. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call.
