It never occurred to Medusa that she might not always have a homethat she might spend her golden years watching the world go by through the bars of a cage. Things happen, though, and not every dog gets to keep the security that they deserve. Medusa has stolen the hearts of our ENTIRE shelter staff. She is an older girl, but she has that trademark Boxer wiggle, and her big brown eyes are so intense and hopeful. She loves to snuggle and walk on a leash, and she is happy as long as she is close to someone. Medusa is a house dog and is very housebroken and well behaved indoors. She is a simple girl who is looking for a loving home, and she has only one request. She needs a home where she can be the only pet. After years of competing for attention, Medusa has decided that she would rather not be with other animals, something that is very common in senior dogs. However, because our space is so low here at the shelter, that means that Medusas time here is limited. She needs a new home NOWnot tomorrow, not next week, NOW. She is the sweetest, most loving dog EVER and our hearts break at the thought that she may not be adopted soon enough. Please, if you have room in your heart and home for a beautiful dog, consider adopting Medusa and making her golden years the best ones of her life.
