DELIVERANCE - that is the song Veronica is singing these days. She was rescued from a south alabama shelter but before that she was a busy little mama, who had lots of puppies for someone. This little sweetheart is so relieved to be done with all of that and free to enjoy the rest of her life as a lady of leisure. Unfortunately, those puppy brokers didn't care enough to prevent heartworms, so Veronica came to us with them but she has been treated and is now heartworm free. Shr has adjust very well to life as a family member in her foster family. She has learned that humans are for loving her and their laps are just the right size for a tiny 7 pound girl like her. This little darling has been spayed, is up to date on immunizations and is on heartworm prevention. Don't even think of adoptinf her if you are not looking for a lap dog who will follow you to the ends of the earth, because that is exactly what Miss Veronica is. Because of her tiny size, Veronica will not be placed in a home with children under the age of 12 or with a dog weighing more than 20 pounds. Veronicas adoption donation is $125, and she is being fostered in Birmingham, Alabama. We do approve out of state adoptions, but the adopter must be willing to drive to the foster home to fetch the new family member. We do not ship or transport our dogs.
