Hello. My name is Delilah. I have been wandering the streets of Midtown for a while. I am about one year old, so I will just call April Fools day my birthday. I have been so hungry for so long. A very nice lady saw me and said I looked as skinny as a rail. She was so very kind! She brought me some food! I was so happy to find someone who didn't look the other way and try to ignore me, I had to follow her home. She fed me some more and asked Streetdog Foundation if they could help me find a forever home! Wow! I couldn't believe it. I had been alone and without shelter for most of my life. I thought no one cared. Humans can be kind after all. I though I was just invisible. Now I have a name and a temporary home.I am so excited that I will one day have a forever home. I like people and other dogs. I also like cats Some people were surprised about the cats, but hey, why wouldn't I like them? I didn't know any life other than the streets. I can't wait to show you what a great dog I am! Someday, my very own human will read this and want to meet me.
