A couple of months ago GSPSF heard about a young male up in Ukiah that had been kicked in the head by a horse. The damages were too much for the owner and the shelter, this young GSP was going to be put down. We took a flyer on this guy and named him Chance, as in 'second chance'. Are we glad we did! Chance is approximately 1.5 years old and a beauty. He ended up only losing 4 teeth because of the kick, other than that you would never know why he needed a second chance. He is sweet and adorable.....very affectionate with people and great with other dogs. We have spent the last 2 months getting him some training, and the results are amazing and gratifying. This is a real case of someone's throwaway turning into a real treasure. Chance is excellent on and off leash, has great recall, very good house manners and is crate trained. He'd make a great family dog or a new best friend. His foster family is getting too attached, so if you'd like to meet Chance PLEASE send us an application on our website gspsf.org. No calls, please.
