Abriana is a 1-year old Toy Rat Terrier who was found as a stray in southern California. When she entered the shelter she had a serious injury to her left eye, which had to be removed. Abriana is a tiny gal... just 7" tall and weighing only 7 pounds. She is a bit underweight but is working to gain a bit to get to where she should be. Although she is not quite one hundred percent on her house training, she is very close, and when she needs to "go" when no one is home to let her out, she uses potty pads (but has missed on occasion). She knows how to use a doggie door, is good on leash, and loves to ride in the car. She sleeps in a crate at night but would prefer to sleep in her foster mom's bed. She gets along well with all the dogs in her foster home and the cats, too. She is a lover and likes nothing more than to curl up on your lap. This is a must! Because of her size and vision limitations, Abriana will need to go to an all-adult home. And because she is very playful, she will need a home with another small companion dog. So if you are wanting a small, sweet, and loving little companion to warm your lap, then Abriana is the girl for you! Click here to see a short video of Abriana "in action." And click here to visit her on-line photo album. Our adoption fee is $175 for adult dogs and $225 for puppies under six months old.
