Additional information
please call jody to meet: 208.841.2689 Sheba is a LARGE lover! She is 125lb is purebred & AKC registered Ovtcharka. This is a rare breed, but we have posted a link below to familiarize you with their traits... About the breed ... http://www.terrificpets.com/dog_breeds/central_asian_ovtcharka.asp Sheba is trained (and is currently in training) ! Knows heal, sit, stay, down, shake, come, out, up.... She gets in & out of the car nicely. She plays well with other dogs, especially little dogs, as long as she IS NOT leashed, and they are not aggressive toward her. Sheba is best in her own environment and loves loves to play chase. She likes to walk and do her 'duty' in the morning. She does well unleashed too, if you are able to find a private SAFE place. She LOVES to run, and returns on command. After her morning exercise, she chills and is content with sitting and staring out the front window. Sheba's used to bark at all bikes, people, dogs, strollers... passing by, but with minimal training, she now only occasionally growls at the dogs. Protective. Must be strong, good alpha - Sheba has a tad of separation Anxiety. She can also be a bit stubborn. Sheba is still a lady and does not respond well to yelling, yanking on her leash, grabbing her collar or sudden movements. She is skittish and will snap if she feels threatened. NO crating - Sheba is NOT comfortable in crates, UNLESS it is for SHORT intervals AND she can see her mom/dad, AND the crate is HUGE and COMFY. We are working on playing with toys with Sheba. She is learning what 'fun' means. Her history from the original owner , who purchased her from a breeder, to be discussed on phone or in person with potential adopter. Remember, Sheba is a big girl and needs a home with a good size yard, and some great walks - walks nicely on the leash - Vaccinations are current and she is chipped. Please do not post my telephone number only my email address. If YOU have any questions contact Jody, her current Mommy (this is a courtesy posting for an outreach citizen) at 208-841-2689. Thank you!
