Rusty is a 1 year old male Pit Bull Terrier. He was found as a stray east of Austin. Rusty is a happy guy with a very pleasant and calm personality. He is a compact-sized Pit Bull and weighs about 45 pounds at the present time. He enjoys attention from humans every chance he can get. Shelter life does cause him some stress, but that is understandable. Rusty is neutered and is current with all vaccinations. In our Shelter, Rusty resides in a 5' x 10' kennel pen for most of the day, so it makes it hard for us to know if he is housetrained or not, but he does do a great job of keeping his kennel pen clean. Rusty will not be adopted as an outdoor dog, or as a guard dog. His adoption fee is $95. We utilize a short adoption application form to assess compatibility between dogs and their prospective homes.
