Please meet our adorable, Howie. Howie is a very handsome and petite bassador (basset hound / laborador retriever mix)! Howie is approximately 2 years of age and weighs approximately 40 lbs. Howie gets along well with children and most other dogs. He has not yet been cat tested. Howie has a very outgoing and loving disposition. He loves to play with toys and other dogs, although he is a ham and also loves to be the center of attention! Howie is seeking a new permanent residence here in Colorado with a loving family! Howie is neutered, microchipped and current on all of his shots. Howie is crate trained and walks well on a leash. Howie was treated for a mild case of heartworm disease when he arrived into rescue, but has come through with flying colors; he will need to remain on heartworm preventative (nomial cost) to protect him. All that this wonderful little dog is missing now is a family to call his very own!
