Beau is very smart and a really good dog. He wants to be with his people, grew up with another dog so he knows how to share attention. He has worked real hard to learn what we wanted to teach him and he is ready to go home forever. You will not regret bringing him into your life. He may be a hound but only barks when he can see you but not able to get to you. If he is alone, he is silent and if he is with you, he is silent and oh so happy. Echo Glen Children's Center is a youth correctional facility located approximately 40 minutes east of Seattle. Canine Connections is a program that pairs the at-risk youth at Echo Glen with dogs that have not yet found successful placements. In this program the youth are taught how to train the dogs in basic obedience through a reward based system. At the end of its training each dog will complete the AKC Canine Good Citizen and basic Obedience Test. Please note that our adoption fee is $200.
