Ryder is a 2-3 year old Black & Tan Coonhound. Ryder has had what can gently be called a "tough time". She was found emaciated with sores all over her body. With care and a regular healthy diet she is getting back to the sweet and wonderful girl that we knew she could be. Ryder is in a foster home with many other dogs of various sizes and temperaments and she is doing great. However, as sweet as Ryder is, she is still a coonhound which means that when her nose is to the ground her attention cannot be diverted easily. She also has that easily identified coonhound bay, a fantastic sound in many situations, but not in an apartment.
