2/27/12 Donald was rescued from a high kill shelter. He and his companion were owner surrendered due to financial hardship. Another rescue group took his companion, but they did not want to take Donald because he is Heartworm Positive. He has been started on a slow kill regimen and is doing well. He has no symptoms and has as much energy and spunk as you could ask for! Donald is very loving and sweet natured. He does tend to want to be dominant with other dogs, but not aggressive, just bossy.
