Walter is a very handsome 1 year old, 6-7 pound Chihuahua boy who is looking for a home. Walter was rescued from an animal control facility. He was very nervous when we first took him in and has come a long way since he has been in our program. We would classify Walter as a very typical Chihuahua. He loves people he knows, and is very shy, nervous, and standoffish with new people. He LOVES other dogs and would love to have a doggie playmate in his new home. Walter needs to go to a home that is familiar with the breed and has experience with the Chihuahua personality. Once Walter knows you, you are his friend forever!! He will most likely always be shy around new folks and will need an owner who understands this and will help him trust all new people he meets. Walter's foster parents say he is really a sweetheart who loves to snuggle and sleep in the bed (or happily goes into his crate if you want him to) and will continue to blossom with the right family. He is going to be a VERY devoted companion! Walter's adoption fee is $200 which includes vaccinations, neuter, and microchip.
