UPDATE 2/24/12: Snowball is doing great in his foster home. All of his medical needs have been taken care of and now he is waiting for that special person to take him home. Snowball is housebroken!! It saddens me that so few senior dogs can find their forever homes. Won't you be the one to give this guy his few remaining years a happy home!! Snowball is an adorable, tiny, 7lb., blind Maltese that was rescued from the Philly shelter after being dumped by his family. He had terribly infected ears and seemed very sad in the shelter. Luckily it did not affect his hearing. He is now feeling much better and is just a love. He gets so happy when you talk to him and loves to be held! He is just a laid back, little guy that would love nothing more than to have a nice, cozy, loving home of his own to retire in. Snowball is also housebroken and goes outside on his own despite being blind. Please won't you open your heart and home to this sweet, little senior? He is so deserving and he will give you love back 10 fold. Snowball is not neutered and unfortunately it does not look like he will be able to be neutered due to a heart murmur and his age. He is up to date on his vaccines and his adoption fee is $150. Please e-mail sheplover5@aol.com for an application or download an application from our website at www.foreverhomerescue.com.
