History: Cocoa was surrendered to a local shelter with a chicken bone lodged in her lower jaw. After two surgeries she is completely healed and ready to find a new home. (No chicken bones, please!)
Crate Trained: Yes. Cocoa happily eats and sleeps in her crate. however, she typically does not need to be crated because she has such nice house manners.

Personality: cocoa is a very sweet and sensitive girl. Like most Dobies, she is highly intelligent, very trainable, and strongly devoted to her caretakers.
Energy Level: Moderate. cocoa loves to go for walks, play with other dogs, and romp in the yard. however, she is usually very calm indoors and is generally content to curl up and take a nap.
Noise Level: Moderate. Cocoa is generally a quiet dog, but will bark when someone comes to the door or if she feels her family is threatened.
Special Needs: none
Ideal Home: Cocoa will thrive in any number of settings. She would be a great family dog, or a wonderful companion for a single or couple looking for a companion.
