Why fit in when you were born to stand out? Shelly has taken this Dr Seuss quote to heart! She absolutely stands out in a pack with her appealing feminine frame and clever wiles. We dont know for certain her origins (having landed in a shelter with her littermate sister Kelly) but suffice it to say that while she may be small by Ridgeback standards and lacks a ridge she is all Ridgie. This being said her adopters will need to be wise to the ways of an independent thinking hound (and all that that entails, wink!). At this point in time she is studying up on life, building confidence and learning by leaps and bounds. Shelly is house/crate trained and working on obedience 101. Her adopters will need to commit to enrolling in a training class to bond and broaden Shellys horizons. Her list of favorite things includes another dog to romp with, antler chews and a lap to rest her head on. Shelly is demure with strangers in new surroundings which is to be expected given the newness of life experiences. Her adopters will set off on a special journey with her and I can assure you it will be worthwhile. Again, I find that Dr Seuss has the perfect message for Shelly-jelly belly-bell. Youre off to great places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, so get on your way! So be sure when you step, step with care and great tact. And remember that lifes a great balancing act. And will you succeed? Yes! You will, indeed! (98 and percent guaranteed) Kid, youll move mountains. Three cheers for you Shelly Oh, the places youll go! It is to be determined if she can live with cats or small children. CLICK HERE TO ADOPT ME!
