Chuck is an 18 pound, 4-year-old Spaniel mix. He has an alpha streak and can be stubborn so he needs a guardian who is comfortable establishing himself or herself as the alpha pack member. Once you do that with him in a calm assertive manner, he is putty in your hands and very sweet and loving and will roll over on his back for belly rubs. He isn't fond of being cooed over and pet by strangers but he becomes very dedicated and loyal to his pack leader.

Chuck loves playing fetch singlehandedly he will throw a toy, chase it down, then throw it again. He is mostly housebroken but has some accidents. He isn't extremely active, but he does need to get out for moderate exercise to be completely fulfilled. He generally ignores other dogs but can be bossy with cats, and would really prefer to be an only pet.

Chuck's senior guardian could no longer care for him so she entrusted POMDR to find him a new loving home.
