Bubba is a large black and tan Coonhound/airdale mix. He is intelligent, loyal, and good natured companion dog. He is alert, eager, and very dedicated to his family. He is friendly towards stranders and does best with older children. He is a medium level energy so a 30 min walk a day will do him just fine. He is easy to train but does not respond to harsh overbearing training. He needs a calm, but firm, confindent, consistent leader. He gets along great with other dogs. Bubba came to the sancturay because he was at another shelter where he was not do well with sheltler life. He has resided at the sanctuary where he has learned to co-exsist with a pack of dogs. He receives plenty of physical and mental exercise. He has learned rules, boundaries, structure, discipline and correction. He has learned to repsect humans and look at them as leaders.
