Bowie is a 10 yo female Cairn Terrier who came to CRUSA from a shelter. Unlike most Cairns Bowie LIKES and is very good with children. She is quiet and a laid back kind of girl, again very unusual for a Cairn.I Am a Delight to Walk!
Bowie walks very nicely and gently on the leash. There is nothing more calming than taking a well behaved dog on and walk; and with Bowie you can do just that.Other Dogs Are OK
Bowie gets along with other dogs as long as they do what she says. She might be happier in a home where she is the only dog or in a home where the other dog will let her be the Alpha.Belly Rub Please!
Bowie loves to be petted and if you have the time she especially love belly rubs. Nothing better in life then relaxing and giving your new best friend a belly rub!Where Is Bowie Now?
Bowie is located in a private Foster Home in Odenton, Maryland.I Am Up To Date!
Bowie is up-to-date on her vaccinations, has been spayed, is microchipped, has tested negative for heartworm disease, and is on a monthly heartworm preventative.UPDATE: On December 4, 2012 Bowie had surgery to repair a torn cruciate ligament and also had her teeth cleaned. She has recovered very nicely from the surgery and is doing well. She is running around playing with the other resident dogs and doing great. She will be a prefect little girl for an older couple looking for a great girl who wants to please her new family.
