Macy is a young 1 year old black lab mix., spayed and current on shots. She was adopted by a family from us as a puppy last December.She was returned last September because she is a big girl and they had no way to give her exercise on a regular basis due to a very busy life style. She loves exercise and activity. She is house trained and and learned in one hour to be crate trained. Since she has been back at the shelter, one of our volunteers has been working with her and says she is a very intelligent and learns quickly . She is very treat oriented when being trained. With consistency she will do great. She is wonderful with people, very gentle, even when being treated for a cut on her leg, she never became aggressive. She gets along with other dogs, and does not show much interest in cats. She is a dog that with love and patience will make a wonderful addition to a family.
