Meet our super sweet Genevieve, a 5yo lovely white poodle who weighs 18 lbs. She is about the most attentive and loving dog you could hope to have in your life. This is a classic poodle girl who is a happy companion, and all she needs is a little extra bling to complete her poodle girl looks. What lovely manners! Genevieve is house trained and crate trained, and is usually crated by her foster mom when she needs to leave Genevieve at home. Genevieve is friendly with visitors, and likes to visit people while on her daily walks. Genevieve gets along great with other dogs, but should not go to a home with cats (her one social failing...sigh).Genevieve would love to have a family with children, as she's great with kids. She would also make a fabulous buddy for a lonely solo dog needing companionship. She loves attention and is easy to groom. As is true with all poodles, Genevieve will require grooming on a regular (monthly) basis. She is really NOT good with cats, and she is not afraid to admit it.She is spayed, micro-chipped, current on her shots, and ready for a wonderful family who will appreciate all of her special attributes.

All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such these individuals aremost qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog.We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information.

All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and up to date on shots. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog is a fit for your family. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog. Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog. We continue accepting applications on a dog until the dog is with the new adoptive family in their home.Thank you for visiting our dogs located at www.SecondChanceDogRescue.org
