If you're interested in a frisbee catcher or flyball prospect or are into extreme dog sports, check out this high jumping, athletic dog! Sesame is an attractive, tail wagging yellow dog with white on her legs, underside, and face. Sesame's tail curls tightly over her back. Her coat is very short and essentially maintenance free except for occasional washing. Sesame is a snuggle bug. She loves to be petted and presses her body against yours for cuddling. She's friendly to other dogs and should be mannerly at a dog park. Sesame is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and takes heartworm prevention. She is also microchipped. Born Jan. 2011, Sesame's adult weight is in the 40ish range. She's leggy with a deep chest, narrow gut, and curled tail. She's crate trained. Sesame walks on a leash and knows the sit, down, off, and wait commands. She has responded well to clicker training and has also practiced the skills needed for dog sledding (or pulling a person on a skate board). The most recent trick she's been learning is to jump through a hula hoop. A high energy dog, Sesame needs daily exercise to get the wiggles out of her system. Running with a human or playing in a fenced area with kids or other dogs would release her energy. She exuberantly splashes in the pond at her foster home and has great potentila as a water sports dog. Hey, maybe she could even learn to ride a surf board to shore. She's a cuddler who can be very affectionate and appreciative of human attention. She'd much rather be petted than fed treats. She's friendly to children of all ages, but best suited to kids who don't mind a wiggly dog. Email petsavernc@bellsouth.net for an application for Sesame.
