Male/Neutered, >10 yrs old, ~ 15 lbs (05/23/12)Most mornings finds Bones basking in the sun on the large window sill. Mostly it's sleeping but occasionally he like to watch the cars go by or supervise the 'goings on' around him. Bones is getting a little bounce in his step now that the weather is getting warmer. He actually enjoys his time in the yard, walking around, stretching his legs and getting a little exercise. Please consider giving Bones a warm, cushy place to lay his weary 'bones'. (03/27/12) Bones is Bones .... and that's what you get. He apparently feels as if he has earned the right to be his own dog. He sleeps most of the day, awakening just long enough to put his two cents in then goes back to sleep. We believe him to be deaf altho that doesn't stop him from 'bossing'. If you are interested in allowing Bones a nice comfy place to live out his life, please fill out an application. Thank you.(01/11/12) Bones is a crotchety old man. He is also a sweetheart. If you like Spitz's, you'll love Bones' cantankerous personality. And you know, at his age, he's earned the right to be his own dog.(11/07/11) I would describe Bones as a typical Spitz. He is loving, affectionate, and interested in humans ... on his terms. Once he decides he likes you, he loves you for life; once he decides he can get something from you, he loves you for the moment; and once he figures out who feeds him, you will have his full attention at feeding time. Bones is Bones!(09/14/10) Bones is a feisty little guy who was found as a stray in Northern PA. He is affectionate, sweet, and well mannered - quite the gentleman! He is currently shaved (because he was badly matted when he was found) so he looks like a white teddy bear ... absolutely adorable! He gets along well with other dogs and does not appear to have been abused. Oh, and Bones has recently had a dental. There is an adoption fee for this pet.
