Additional information
I'm Hank and I'm approximately 2 yrs old. I was rescued from a local animal shelter where my time was up. I am very thankful (and lucky) that someone got me out of there. I am currently in a foster home with my 3 doggie brothers and sisters, 2 children, and my foster mom. I do very well with them and I like the fact that they keep me busy. I live indoors and I love it. BUT my favorite things to do is run and play tug of war outside. I love to jump for treats. Sometimes it seems as if I can touch the sky. I love taking walks around the block. My dream would be a Frisbee dog or an agility runner. I am fast and I can jump and climb further than any other dog around. My favorite snacks are french fries and peanuts.....(hold the ketchup, please). I am up to date on all my shots, neutered, micro chipped, front-lined, and wormed. I can sit, give my paw and go to the door when I need to potty. I want very badly to have a forever home and to be someone's best friend. I am counting on my new home to treat me kindly, supervise me, and play with me. In return, I will thank you for the rest of my life and give you endless entertainment. My adoption fee is $150 which goes directly back to the rescue to help save more pets. Come visit us at Petsmart on Veterans Pkwy in Clarksville, Indiana every Saturday 1p- 5p. Weekdays by appointment. If you can't adopt this pet please consider being a sponsor. Just $5 will help towards to care of this baby. We are 501c3 non profit, contributions may be tax exempt. WE HIGHLY recommend puppy/dog training! It is very important when adopting a pet. We become easily frustrated b/c people will EASILY adopt a puppy, but then not train them properly, and need to find another home for them when they are starting to exhibit bad behavior patterns, i.e, biting, jumping, etc. Usually around 3-9 months old. By that time, they are not “cute”, "small", or very “puppy.” It is very important that you go to a dog obedience class with your new pet! This will greatly help them and you learn how to properly teach good habits, instill discipline, and learn effective training techniques. Obedience training also helps older dogs who are going into a new home/environment as well! The window of opportunity for establishing good behavior patterns and strategies for both puppy and dog is limited! Our organization offers 24PetWatch microchips, which include free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service. For more information visit or call 1-866-597-2424. This pet also is eligible for 30 days of pre-paid ShelterCare pet health insurance. For more information please visit or call 1-866-375-PETS.
