Lola is a 3 year old female Pit Bull Terrier. SHE IS IN A FOSTER HOME, NOT AT THE SHELTER. She is black with a wide wave of white on her chest. Lola came to us from the Austin city dog pound. She only weighs about 50 pounds. She is a nice medium sized dog. Lola has some great potential. She is beyond the hyper stage (although she will still have a wild spell now and then) and has more of a nanny dog type of personality. If you lay on the grass, shell scoot right next to you. She seems accustomed to kids, so perhaps there were kids in her prior home. We think shed prefer to sit outside and watch the kids play, rather than actually play with them. She might have a little protective/guardian traits to her demeanor, but thats something we wont know entirely for sure until she settles into a home. She would do best in a one-dog home. We are not sure how she would do with cats, as we have not tested her in that area. Lola is current with all vaccinations and is spayed. She has shown to be housetrained in her foster home. Lola is a very sweet gal, and will not be adopted as an outdoor dog nor as a guard dog. Her adoption fee is $95. We utilize a short adoption application form to assess compatibility between dogs and their prospective homes. This form is a simple one-sided Microsoft Word document and it can be e-mailed to you upon request. If you would like to receive the form via e-mail, or if you have any other questions, please send us an e-mail message.
