Meet Scruffy, or as I call him, my little Scruff-Scruff. Scruffy ended up in a rural high-kill shelter where he suffered from a very bad and painful skin condition and was scheduled to be euthanized. Luckily, we were able to rescue him, fix him up, and now his ready to find his forever home. Scruffy is estimated to be about 8-9 years old so he is a senior boy but he still has lots of energy. It took awhile, but now that he is feeling better, he enjoys wrestling with my other foster dog but it doesnt take much to wear him out. Scruffy also has toys he loves to play with and will frequently take them out to the backyard to bury them. I know he has gone outside to bury a toy because he will come in with dirt all over his nose and I cant help but just laugh. Scruffy is quite the cuddler and has very good bed manners; he sleeps in one spot at the end of the bed and stays but for the night. Scruffy does ok with the cats although he will growl at them every now and then but he certainly would never hurt them. Scruffy loves to go for walks and car rides and would do well in a quieter home. Scruffy is neutered, up to date on routine vaccinations and microchipped and his adoption fee is $75.
