Hershey is 2 years old. He was given up by his owner because she could only have two of three pets in her new apartment. Hershey is extremely timid and takes at least a week to even start to approach you. He is afraid of other dogs and won't eat when they are anywhere near. However, he has picked another small chihuahua to be his best friend. They are together constantly and she is bringing him out of his shell.He comes near when called but runs away again and again. He wants to be close to you but fear stops him. He does not like to be held. He squirms in your arms. He likes to be outside and stays close by.
