Ben, male hound mix about 2 years old entered Shelby County Animal Shelter as a stray. He was vetted and tested heart worm positive. Before he was treated, something happened and he was found in his kennel run stiff as a board, barely breathing. To this day his doctors are not sure what caused this but he is a happy boy now and running and playing with other dogs in his foster home. He needs to gain some weight and then needs to be treated for heart worms. Please help support us in our mission to get Ben heart worm free and healthy so he can find his forever loving home.
